GET INVOLVED

Volunteering at the Vincent House is a moment by moment celebration of life.  I like to say that volunteering at our house is a way to connect your heart to your hands.  If you have been hesitant to volunteer with us because you were concerned it would be depressing and somber, I can assure you it is neither of those.  Being a volunteer here allows you the opportunity to truly slow down, connect and appreciate all the gifts of life.  You are here to share of yourself with others but you will be blessed in return.  We celebrate life through all the stages.

Volunteers are the heart of our house.  I can’t emphasize enough how much each and every moment of time or talent given affects our ability to provide for the needs of our residents.  I am eager to welcome more volunteers to our dedicated group.  Our volunteers work on a schedule of four hour shifts.  You decide how often or how little you want to sign up.  I think you will find soon after joining our team that your heart will lead you to want to embrace more time spent here.
